In today's world, how easy is it to get a friend who only wants to see you smile or cannot take it to see you shed tears? How easy? Not at all.

Dasara tells the story of two best friends who end up in a love triangle and deal with political issues that come their way.

Set up in the Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani of Telangana in Andhra Pradesh, the movie was shot in a raw and rustic background with Alcohol as a tradition in the village of Veerlapally. Amid the daily grind in a coal mining town, politics and power dynamics take a dangerous toll on a love triangle between three longtime friends.

The characters have performed well showing us the authentic nature of the people of rural India. The personality of each character is well expressed. Nani aces his role as Dharani with ease. Santhosh Narayanan makes us feel like being part of the film with his background music and songs. Keerthy Suresh adds some fun time to the story with her amazing dance moves.

Being Srikanth Odela's debut film, it stars Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty and Shine Tom Chacko in the lead roles.

The film was released on March 30, 2023, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

It gained over 100 Crores, securing the #1 position in India at the Box Office records.

The film has received numerous positive reviews and appreciation from top film stars and even the Oscar Winning Director SS Rajamouli.

The film was made available to watch on Netflix from April 27, 2023.

I would give the film a rating of 4.5
